1.Maleic anhydride technology
Bohua Engineering Improved Engineering design technology of maleic anhydride oxidation in n-butane fixed bed production technology, based on the digestion and absorption of maleic anhydride technology imported from abroad, and completed the localization of key equipment of maleic anhydride. The oxidation reaction capacity of a single set of n-butane process can reach 50 thousand tons/year; The Distillation and absorption capacity can reach 200,000 tons/year; Bohua Engineering maleic anhydride technology has formed a series and standardized production scale with an annual yield of 20, 25,50, 100, 150, 200 kilotons Our maleic anhydride producing progress has been continuously innovated in process flow, control scheme, energy saving and emission reduction.  The scale of reactor package and the core equipment, have been continuously expanded, and its performance has been continuously improved. Bohua Engineering maleic anhydride technology is in a leading position in maleic anhydride industry in China and has been included in the promotion technology of science and technology plan of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation.

2.soda ash
Based on the " Hou ' sCombined-soda Process " invented by Mr. Hou Debang and years of production experience of Tianjin Bohua Yongli Chemical Co., Ltd. (Tianjin Soda Factory), the proprietary technology of soda ash has been re-innovated through the integration of engineering design experience, and a number of core technologies have been developed, especially the Combined-soda Process engineering technology, the energy-saving engineering technology of ammonia evaporation and absorption by ammonia-alkali method, and the engineering technology of producing high-quality low-salt dense soda ash by liquid-phase hydration method, among which the quality of by liquid-phase hydration method is superior, reaching the international advanced level, and has a large market share in high-grade glass. Our combined-soda process has formed a series of production scales of 100, 150, 200, 400, 600, 800, 900, 1000 and 1200 kilotons /year.

3.caustic soda 
In close cooperation with Tianjin Bohua Chemical Development Co., Ltd. (formerly Dagu Chemical), Bohua Project has successively developed technologies suitable for brine, well salt, lake salt, sea salt and waste salt. Targeting different raw materials, we adopted organic membrane/inorganic membrane filtration of primary brine, ionic membrane electrolysis, continuous falling film evaporation, etc., with mature technology, reliable technology, stable product quality and advanced material and energy consumption. Our ionic membrane caustic soda engineering scale has formed a series production scale of 50,60,100,200,300,600 kilotons/year.

4.VCM
Bohua Engineering and South Korea's SUNHYUN T&T Company jointly developed and continuously improved VCM process technology for ethylene production, formed an original proprietary technology and device configuration, and the technology was mature and reliable, and realized the localization of main equipment. Its technical characteristics are mainly: high-temperature chlorination and low-temperature chlorination combined configuration, unique cracking and subsequent VCM rectification unit, and four-stage fixed bed oxychlorination reaction system.

5.PVC
Our PVC technology adopts suspension process, can produce a variety of PVC resin brands. PVC products have advantages in quality and processability, and are recognized by downstream users. Technical innovation was focusing on 70m3 and 108m3 polymerize reactors, Bohua Engineering optimized the monomer feed, shortened the reaction time, increased the yield of single reactor, reduced the consumption of water, electricity and steam, and improved the processability and quality of products. This technology is safe, reliable and green.

6.Paste resin
Bohua Engineering cooperated with Tianjin Botian Chemical Co., Ltd. , developed a series of paste resin products, including seed emulsion method, micro-suspension method, and viscosity reducing resin method. This technology achieves centralized preparation, intensive management and automatic measurement of additives, which improves the preparation accuracy. This technology adopts closed automatic cleaning process to achieve continuous production, reduce environmental pollution and increase the space-time yield of polymerization kettle. By adopting closed collection of cleaning sewage, the dissolved vinyl chloride in sewage could be recovered by sewage stripping technology to achieve the discharge of wastewater VC content up to standard. The vinyl chloride monomer was recovered from the polymer latex by the process of horizontal tank and falling film stripping, and the vinyl chloride remained in the latex was less than 200ppm in unit time, which achieve the standard discharge of dry tail gas and reduce the consumption of vinyl chloride, and the consumption of vinyl chloride per ton was controlled below 1.01. The company's new technologies of seed emulsion method and micro-suspension method both adopt the above-mentioned integrated innovation process, which solves the industry problems, and this technology has been included in the promotion category of science and technology plan of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation.

7.carbon bisulfide
This technology is about using natural gas and sulfur to produce carbon disulfide without catalysis. It is an adiabatic reaction under the conditions of certain pressure, certain temperature and excessive sulfur, and the excess sulfur and carbon disulfide are captured at the same pressure. The liquid carbon disulfide is washed in countercurrent to capture residual sulfur, in order to obtain high conversion rate and high yield. Based on the basic design data at home and abroad, combined with the design experience of similar projects in our company, the new technical design scheme of carbon disulfide production by low-pressure non-catalytic natural gas method is further optimized. The technical process is simplified, with simple equipment structure and long service life.  The production system is hard to get clogged,  and the operation environment is safe and stable. The whole production could achieve DCS automatic control continuous production. The carbon disulfide product quality can reach GB/ T1615-2021 standard. It provides a strong technical guarantee for the development of carbon disulfide industry in China.

8.magnesium hydrate
The engineering technology of magnesium hydroxide by ammonium hydroxide process is to produce magnesium hydroxide by using magnesium resources in salt lakes and magnesium-containing brine in potash fertilizer.  In this technology progress, ammonia is used as precipitant to prepare high-purity magnesium hydroxide (purity is above 99%), and ammonium chloride crystals in mother liquor are used as raw materials of compound fertilizer. This method can achieve continuous production, adopt DCS control system, and multivariable predictive control pattern recognition and intelligent control technology, to establish a multi-process coordinated and optimized control system with production.  Our engineering technology achieves the simultaneous start and stop of each process, and improves the comprehensive automation level of the device. The production scale of a single set of magnesium hydroxide can reach 150,000 tons/year, which is the largest in China and the technical level is leading in China.

9.Bromine extraction
The extraction of bromine by air blowing method is mainly containing several steps: acidification, oxidation, air blowing, absorption, distillation, bromine gas condensation, bromine water separation. In this progress, sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid are used as acidification raw materials and chlorine gas is used as oxidant to extract bromine from seawater, brine, concentrated seawater and wastewater. This technology could run continuously, by adopting DCS control system and on-line sampling analysis, with high degree of automation and leading technical level in China. The requirements for bromine content in raw materials are wide.

10.carbon black
Bohua Engineering focused on the development of high-quality carbon black production technology for a long period. In 1984, Bohua Engineering undertook the engineering design of the first new process carbon black production line with an annual production of 15,000 tons in China. Bohua Engineering and Suzhou Bohua Carbon Black Co., Ltd. jointly develop 20,000 tons/year production technology of hard carbon black and soft carbon black.  In 2008, Carbon black production technology became Bohua Engineering proprietary technology. After continuous research and development, carbon black technology has made many achievements: the annual yields of a single set of capacity has been expanded from 20.000 tons to 60,000 tons (double burners); The raw material route can be chosen in oil and gas; Bohua Engineering carbon black technology also has quality improvement of granulation process, drying process, energy saving and consumption reduction, etc.
